Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is thoroughly browned. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Mix Beef and Soups: Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream into the cooked beef. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread this mixture evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Add Tater Tots and Cheese: Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the beef mixture. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
