Ingredients
- 1 package fudge brownie mix
- 2 packages miniature Reese’s cups
- 4 cups cold milk (preferably 2%)
- 2 packages instant vanilla pudding
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cans (8 oz each) thawed Cool Whip
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Brownies
- Make the Brownie Batter: Follow the directions on the brownie mix box to prepare the batter.
- Bake: Pour the batter into a greased 12×9-inch pan. Set the oven to 350°F and bake for 20-25 minutes. The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool: Once baked, place the pan on a wire rack to cool completely. Once cool, slice the brownies into 3/4-inch thick pieces.
Step 2: Prepare the Peanut Butter Cups
- Cut the Peanut Butter Cups: Halve the miniature Reese’s cups and set them aside for garnishing.
Step 3: Make the Pudding Mixture
- Mix Pudding: In a large bowl, beat the instant vanilla pudding mix with the cold milk for 2 minutes until thick.
- Add Peanut Butter and Vanilla: Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until well combined. Fold in 1 1/2 cups of Cool Whip to make the mixture extra creamy.
Step 4: Assemble the Layers
- Layer the Ingredients: In a 5-quart glass dish, place one-third of the brownie pieces at the bottom. Top with one-third of the pudding mixture and some halved peanut butter cups.
- Repeat Layers: Continue layering the brownies, pudding, and peanut butter cups two more times.
- Top it Off: Finish with the remaining Cool Whip and garnish with the last of the halved peanut butter cups.
Step 5: Chill and Serve
- Refrigerate: Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for a few minutes to set before serving.
