Buffalo Chicken Dip (Crock Pot)

Similar to our popular Mississippi Sin Dip, this Buffalo Chicken Dip is perfect for any social gathering, from game day parties to casual get-togethers.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 40 minutes
  • Yield: 8 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely diced celery (optional)
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)

  • Celery sticks, tortilla chips, and crackers for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare the Base: In your crock pot, combine the softened cream cheese, Buffalo wing sauce, and ranch dressing. Stir until well mixed.
  • Add the Chicken: Fold in the shredded chicken, ensuring it's evenly coated with the cream cheese mixture.
  • First Cooking Phase: Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure even heating.
  • Add the Cheeses: Sprinkle the blue cheese crumbles and shredded cheddar on top. Continue cooking for 30 minutes until the cheese is perfectly melted.
  • Final Touch: If desired, stir in the diced celery for added crunch. Give everything a good mix to incorporate all ingredients.

  • Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions and extra cheese if desired. Keep warm in the crock pot while serving.
